Privacy Policy

When you use Vyrti we collect: account details (name, email, password hash), profile information you add (photo, bio, location), listing content (photos, descriptions, approximate location for radius search), messages you exchange with other users, trade activity, and technical data (device, browser, IP, usage events).

• Operate the marketplace: listings, matching, messaging, and trade offers
• Show approximate distance between traders (we never publish your exact coordinates)
• Send notifications you've enabled (push and email — e.g. match alerts, trade offers)
• Moderate content and keep the community safe (including AI-assisted screening of listings)
• Improve and secure the Service

Your public profile (name, photo, bio, general location, badges, and reviews) and your listings are visible to other users. We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run Vyrti (e.g. hosting, email delivery, AI moderation), or when required by law.

Messages are private between conversation participants. Our moderation team may review message content in response to a report or suspected violation of our Terms of Service.

We keep your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at privacy@vyrti.com (placeholder — official contact address coming soon). Some records may be retained where required for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention purposes.

We use cookies and local storage for authentication and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Vyrti is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
